Why I Created Aria Sonata
My interest in skin health began long before I opened Aria Sonata. Like many women, I have experienced firsthand how much our skin can change throughout adulthood. I have dealt with hormonal acne, watched my skin respond differently as my hormones changed, and spent years trying to better understand the connections between skin health, hormones, overall wellness and the way we age.
That curiosity eventually became something much bigger. I found myself continually reading, researching and looking for better answers, not only for myself, but for other women experiencing many of the same changes. Today, I continue that education through advanced aesthetic training, professional seminars and continuing education, while regularly reviewing medical and cosmetic research to better understand evolving treatments, technologies and approaches to skin health and aesthetic medicine.
As women move through their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond, the changes we see in the mirror are rarely the result of one thing. Hormonal changes, collagen loss, shifts in facial volume, skin quality, lifestyle and overall wellness can all influence how our skin and faces change over time. My interest is in understanding those changes rather than simply treating what is visible on the surface.
That philosophy shapes the way I practice at Aria Sonata Aesthetics. Sometimes a woman is looking for healthier, brighter skin. Sometimes she wants to soften expression lines, restore a little volume or improve an area of facial imbalance that has bothered her for years. Other times, she simply wants guidance because she knows something has changed but isn't sure where to begin.
I understand that feeling.
We often notice things about ourselves that no one else would ever see. A small asymmetry, a change in our skin, a line that suddenly seems deeper or a feature that looks different than it once did can become the first thing we notice every time we look in the mirror. Those concerns may seem small to someone else, but that does not make them insignificant to the person experiencing them.
My goal is never to create a different face. It is to listen, understand what is actually bothering you and determine whether there is a thoughtful way to help. That may mean improving skin health, supporting collagen, restoring subtle volume, softening an expression line or sometimes explaining why I believe leaving something alone is the better choice.
For me, aesthetics and skin health are ultimately connected to something larger: confidence. How we feel about ourselves influences how we carry ourselves, how we interact with other people and sometimes simply how comfortable we feel walking into a room.
Aria Sonata grew from my desire to combine the clinical knowledge I have developed throughout my nursing career with the research and education I continually pursue in aesthetics, skin health and healthy aging. Many of the questions my clients bring to me are questions I have asked myself.
Helping another woman find an answer, feel more comfortable in her skin or recognize herself a little more confidently in the mirror is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

A more intelligent approach to aesthetic care
Beautiful results rarely come from treating one line, one wrinkle, or one feature. Aging affects skin, collagen, volume, movement, and facial balance together. At Aria Sonata, treatment is approached with that broader perspective, combining skin health, aesthetic treatments, and thoughtful long-term planning to create results that remain beautifully your own.
Refined care. Thoughtful results.
Our clients come for results. They stay for the experience.
The Journal
Thoughtful, evidence-informed perspectives that translate aesthetic research and clinical knowledge into information you can actually use.
